Bryan College

Located in Dayton, Tennessee (30 minutes north of metro Chattanooga), Bryan is a Christ-centered liberal arts college which is evangelical, non-denominational, and regionally accredited. Position

Initial rank and salary are dependent upon credentials and previous experience. The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate in the discipline, and training / experience in directing a graduate program. The Director’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Direct the year-round operation of the MBA Program
  • Recruit two,15-20 student cohort groups per year
  • Teach courses in the MBA Program
  • Recruit, oversee, and evaluate MBA faculty members
  • Maintain MBA student records and files in cooperation with the Records Office
  • Provide student services to include administrative support and counsel, direct and personal student access, assistance with grievances, and a communication link with the student government for the MBA Program.
  • Evaluate annually the quality of the program and individual courses in consultation with the Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies.
  • Manage the MBA annual budget in consultation with the Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies and the Academic Vice President

This must include a personal testimony of faith in Christ, the Bryan application for faculty appointment, and a philosophy of education and classroom teaching that summarizes how the candidate incorporates a Christian worldview as the foundation for the engagement of faith, learning, and living. Materials will be reviewed as they are received, and the projected start date is August 1, 2008.
