What Is Dual Enrollment?
Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to simultaneously earn college credit that will also count as high school credit.
Dual Enrollment courses offer an opportunity to take challenging courses and gain a jump start to your college education. Dual enrollment courses are college courses. Students should understand that the amount of work necessary to succeed in dual enrollment courses is often much greater than what is required in high school courses.
Dual enrolled students must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a high school junior or senior and at least 16 years old
- Must have a 3.0 minimum grade point average
- Must meet all admissions requirements
