Bryan’s Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team will sponsor a “5K for Kenya” charity race March 26 as a fund-raiser for a high school in that African nation.

SIFE members, in partnership with Gethsemane International, Inc., are seeking to raise money to build a high school for orphans in Kenya as their major project this year. Gethsemane International provides homes for Kenyan children, many of them orphaned because of AIDS, and offers education and Christian training. One of the organization’s goals is to build a high school for their children, a project adopted by the Bryan SIFE team.

The 5K race will feature a course around the Bryan campus and is open to runners and walkers. The entry fee is $25 for adults and $15 for students.
