Bryan continues to roll, wins 4th in a row, grabs share of conference lead

Bryan College squared off against conference leader in Brevard College Nov. 30, and prevailed 74-69.

Brevard got off to a 6-0 start but a dunk from Versell Wells started Bryan on a 19-7 run and Bryan led 19-13 with 12 minutes to go in the first half. Bryan continued to shoot well and create turnovers and led 39-32 at the intermission.

Bryan built the lead to 14 in the second half before a tough Brevard team battled back and trailed by 2. Late in the game Bryan made free throws , and a basket by Nick Hansen helped Bryan prevail 74-69. Bryan is now 5-1 (3-1).

Versell Wells had 16, Nick Hansen 15, Jonathon Little 14, Ahmahl Amedu 12 points and 9 assists, Gabe Johnson 9 points and 6 steals while Ben Brown had 8 points.
