As Vice President for Advancement, Blake Hudson is responsible for overseeing all fundraising, alumni relations, public relations, and publications of the College. He is a member of the President's Executive Cabinet.
Before coming to Bryan, he served as Vice President for Advancement at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Va., and was Director of Development for the Bagley College of Engineering at Mississippi State University. He and his wife Karla also served on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ for seven years.
He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in industrial engineering. Blake and Karla homeschool their five children and live in the Dayton community.

As Director of Development, Steve oversees major gifts and estate planning for Bryan College. He holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) professional designation from the Richard D. Irwin Graduate School of the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Before coming to Bryan, Steve served as Director of Institutional Advancement for Tennessee Temple University for three years, and has twenty-two years of experience in banking and lending. Steve earned his bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee and is an avid 'Big Orange Vol' but dearly loves the excitement of Bryan soccer.
Steve and his wife Kim (Assistant Professor of Music at Bryan) and their four children reside in Dayton.

Karin Fary Carpenter (Class of 84) has been a part of the Bryan family since 1977, when her father, Malcolm Fary began teaching in the education department. She met her husband John (Class of ’86) as a freshman and married him 10 year later. Karin has taught high school English in Dallas and Atlanta and has been an adjunct instructor in the English department at Bryan. She has also been yearbook adviser for more than a decade. She homeschooled her four children, two of whom are now Bryan students. Jay (class of ’15) and Andrew (class of ’17). Her daughter, Katherine, will dual enroll at Bryan this fall and her son, Matthew will begin eighth grade this fall.

Tom Davis, Director of Public Information, is responsible for media relations, edits the alumni magazine Bryan Life, assists with other publications, and coordinates the college's response to inquiries about William Jennings Bryan and the Scopes Trial.
Before coming to Bryan, he worked as a newspaper editor and reporter in Georgia, Virginia, South Carolina and Dayton. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
Tom and his wife, Susan, a Bryan alumna, are the parents of three children, all of whom are Bryan graduates.

As Director of Direct Response Marketing, Janice Pendergrass is responsible for planning and executing a comprehensive Annual Giving program designed to continue building support for Bryan College. She also acts as the central point of contact for the Advancement Department concerning database entry and maintenance, general and custom reports, projects, research and general operational matters relating to the constituent database. She serves on the Bryan College Management Council.
Before coming to Bryan, Janice was a studio vocalist in addition to helping her husband, Scott, run the family style restaurant, CheeZee's, which they own in Dayton. Janice and Scott have one son.
Janice holds a Christian Education degree from Southern Bible Seminary.

As Advancement Assistant, Tracey Bridwell is the central point of contact for the Advancement Department. She assists the vice president, office manager, and directors, and in addition to a myriad of other duties, she schedules meetings and design/print jobs.
Tracey is involved in the children's ministry at her church. She and her husband live in the Dayton area and have 5 grown children and 14 grandchildren.

Dean's primary responsibilities are providing design layout and graphics for print media such as ads, programs, posters, Bryan Life, and Illumine.
He was born in Canton, Ohio, and moved to Athens, Tennessee, at the age of ten. He attended Tennessee Temple University; he graduated in May 2011 with a business degree from Bryan's Degree Completion Program.
Dean is married to Cyndy Clevenger Bell, has one daughter named Hannah Maddysn Bell, and a cat named Callie.
Mr. Bell's one claim to fame is having the opportunity to be a member of the Charles F. Weige Concert Choir as they sung Handel's Messiah in Carnegie Hall.

Alumni Director David Tromanhauser is responsible for building relationships with Bryan alumni. This includes planning and leading Alumni Chapter meetings around the country and directing the Homecoming weekend. He keeps in contact through emails, Facebook, letters, phone calls, and personal visits. He is also responsible for encouraging alums to support the college through giving, prayer, and volunteering their time.
Previously, David's career was in sales and youth ministry. David graduated from Bryan in 1980 with a degree in History and minors in Bible, Education, and P.E. He loves to play golf and referee soccer.
David is married to Anna (Barth), '82. They have five children and two grandchildren. David and Anna are very active in their local church, working with youth and singing in the choir. David also coaches soccer for Rhea County Highschool.

Paulakay Franks Ricketts is Bryan's Alumni Assistant and Alumni Event Planner. She assists Alumni Director David Tromanhauser with his responsibilities and leads planning for Homecoming, reunions, dinner events and much more. She enjoys reconnecting with Bryan alumni and the creativity the job provides.
Paulakay is a 1984 Bryan graduate and has been affiliated with the college since she graduated. Before beginning fulltime work at Bryan in 2006, PK was a stay-at-home mom and worked as the Education Director for the Women's Care Center of Rhea County, where she taught the Center's abstinence program in the public school systems.
PK is mom to two beautiful children: Emily, who is a recent 2009 graduate of Bryan College, and Jake, who is a freshman at Bryan College.

As Director of Career Services, Marica Merck is responsible for the development of career resources for students and alumni, including career planning, internships, job opportunities, Bryan Connect, workshops and the graduate school fair. She also teaches marketing in the Adult & Graduate Studies Program.
Prior to coming to Bryan College, she had a diverse career ranging from the corporate world to academics including Director of Development and Marketing at Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University, both in the Atlana area. She taught online Humanities classes for the University of Phoenix.
She holds an MBA degree from Georgia State University where she was team captain of the cross country team. She was an assistant cross country coach at Kennesaw State University. Jerry and Marica have three grown children.

Rachel is a graduate of Bryan College with a degree in English Literature. She lives in the Dayton community with her husband, Keith.

As Associate Director of Career Services, Bob Jensen is responsible for assisting in the development of career resources for students and alumni, including career planning, internships, job opportunities, Bryan Connect, workshops and the graduate school fair. He will also be teaching in the Criminal Justice Program.
Before his return to Bryan College, Bob spent 32 years in law enforcement working as a police officer and Special Agent for the United States Secret Service. He spent much of his career working patrol and tactical operations and was also assigned to the Presidential Protective Division. He and his wife, Becky, 1980 alum, met at Bryan and have two grown daughters and two grandchildren.
Bob was a 1980 graduate of Bryan, majoring in History, and holds a M.S. in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Homeland Security.

As Career Services Assistant, Chelsea Zimmerman is responsible for coordinating all Career Services events, promoting available resources to students, and meeting with underclassmen to help better prepare them for graduation.
She is a graduate of Bryan College with a degree in Communications. Chelsea married Bryan alum, Andrew Zimmerman. They live in the Dayton community.

As the Annual Campaign Director, David organizes and carries out the annual campaign to raise monies for students that do not have the funds necessary to attend Bryan College. He educates and trains alumni, students, faculty, friends of the college, and parents to tell the story of Bryan College and its impact on the lives of those who have attended or worked for the college to make it the incredible place that it is for Christ. As an alum from 1994, he is passionate about the Bryan College story and is eager to involve volunteers that are willing to tell the story and raise money along with him.
Before coming to Bryan, David spent 17 years in health related services and financial management. He loves to talk about his three girls: Diana, his wife of 16 years, and his two daughters, Isabella and Anastasia. When he is not working, you will see him teaching the sports he loves (gymnastics and karate) to his girls.
David has returned home to Dayton where he grew up. He and his family live in Evensville.
