Bryan College Arboretum
An arboretum is a place for exhibition and study of many kinds of trees and shrubs―basically a botanical garden of trees. The major goals of the Bryan College Arboretum are to:
- Preserve and enhance existing and future trees by demonstrating environmentally responsible management.
- Teach environmental stewardship, biodiversity and horticulture through interpretive signage, self-guided tours, and eventually guided group tours, lectures and audio-visual media.
- Provide teaching and research materials.
- Partner with the community to encourage outdoor recreation and enjoyment of creation.
