Dayton, TN – Tyler Brown of Cleveland High School signed with Bryan College to play baseball. He is a middle infielder/pitcher for the Blue Raiders, entering his senior year looking to put the finishing touch on a very successful career on baseball field.

Bryan head Coach Joel Johnson had these comments about Tyler, "The coaching staff is very excited about adding Tyler to our team.  He is a solid defensive player who can also help our team offensively as well.  We are looking for him to contribute to the team as a freshman.  His pitching will be an immediate asset.  Adding Tyler to what is shaping up to be a very talented recruiting class will only help take our program to the next level. Bringing on a player of this quality from the local area is a great bonus for our team as well.  Tyler comes from a wonderful family and will be a great fit here at Bryan.” stated Coach Johnson, “I am very excited about coaching Tyler and his future in our program.” The Lions will be looking for Tyler to throw a lot of innings as a freshman and help deepen the talent level at the middle infield position.
Tyler’s parents Tim and Marty Brown are very excited about Tyler continuing his baseball career at Bryan: “I’m very proud of my son and thankful to Bryan College for providing him this opportunity,” stated Tim Brown. Tyler had this to say about his future as a Lion, “Out of all the schools I visited I was most impressed with Bryan College and the coaching staff; I’m very excited that I’ve been blessed with this opportunity.” Cleveland Head Baseball Coach Ted Carson believes that “Tyler is an outstanding pitcher and hard worker who will be very successful at the college level.” The Blue Raiders will be counting on Tyler to have a great senior year and help lead them back to the state tournament.
