The 2008 camps were a tremendous success. Over 240 players attended Bryan-affiliated camps, while Coach Sayles and several playes also assisted at Belmont University volleyball camps. The Bryan individual and team camps covered basic individual technique, with breakouts on hitting, digging, and setting. Basic team offensive and defensive concepts were taught as well to the group. Advanced training was given as an evening option for varsity-level players. Players attended from over 10 high schools in Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina, while players from three high schools and two middle schools in Illinois attended Coach Sayles' satellite camp in East Moline. Players, parents, and coaches alike were very enthusiastic and appreciative for the work the camp staff put in.
Camps instruction will be provided by Leo Sayles, Bryan College head volleyball coach, assisted by Bryan College coaching staff, current and former Bryan College volleyball players and other local college coaches
