Call for Abstracts

The Bryan Center for Undergraduate Research welcomes submissions for the Spring Undergraduate Research Conference at Bryan College. This year’s plenary speaker is Dr. Nathan Hitchcock, Assistant Professor of Christian Thought and Heritage at Sioux Falls Seminary.

Undergraduates in all disciplines are encouraged to submit their work for presentation. To be considered for participation, send a 250-word abstract to Dr. Brian Eisenback and Dr. Salvatore Musumeci.  The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, February 3. In addition to the abstract, please include a brief biography (3-5 sentences). A panel of faculty reviewers will judge abstracts. Students will then be notified of decisions by February 7.

If accepted, the student will give a 15-minute presentation at the March 16 conference. Awards will be presented for the top three presentations ($200, $100, $50). Participants also have the option to turn in a research paper to be considered for the top paper awards ($200, $100, $50).
