It’s time for a hearty “Welcome Home, Lions,” as the Alumni office prepares for Homecoming 2012 Friday through Sunday, October 5-7.

New this year will be Tuscany in the Triangle, Friday’s dinner for alumni and families not involved with other reunions. “We will have an Italian picnic, a pasta feast,” Ms. Ricketts said.
Alumni are invited to the second annual Breakfast on the Bluff at Fort Bluff Camp on Dayton Mountain at 8 a.m. Saturday. Breakfast will kick off a day full of activities, including a tailgate lunch, soccer game against St. Catharine College, and the alumni awards banquet.
During the banquet, inductions will be made for the Athletics Hall of Fame. The Alumni of the Year, Young Alumni of the Year and Honorary Alumni will be introduced. Athletics Director Dr. Sandy Zensen will be honored at a reception following the banquet for his 22 years as head men’s soccer coach.
Homecoming festivities will conclude with the alumni worship service Sunday at 10 a.m. Schaun Myers, ’87, will speak, and Scott Hooker, ’82, and Jim Koan, ’87, will lead worship.
