When I launch MS Word, I have a pop-up message about Macros (Avery Dennison Corporation)

Check the box that says "Always trust macros from this source." then click "Enable Macros." You should not see this message in the future unless you open a document that contains macros from another source.

When I click on a menu heading in an Office program, I only see a few items instead of the whole list.

By default, Microsoft Office products limit the pull-down menus to the most commonly- or recently-used items. To view the full menu every time, click on "Tools" then "Customize." If you don't see "Customize," click on the small down arrow at the bottom of the menu or wait for a couple of seconds that the rest of the menu should appear. Once the Customize dialog box has appeared, click on the "Options" tab. Check the box next to "Always show full menus."
