You can apply on-line. If you have questions, please contact the Admissions Office at distance@bryan.edu or 1-800-277-9522 ext. 558. You will be required to submit an official high school transcript OR standardized test scores (ACT or SAT) as part of the application process. You must also be at least a high school junior and 16 years old prior to the start of the course. There is a $15 application fee.

How often are courses offered?
There are 5 distance learning sessions each calendar year. You can take up to two 3-credit courses each session, a total of 6 semester hours each session.

What is the cost of tuition?
Tuition is $798 for each 3-credit course for high school graduates. Tuition is $399 for each 3-credit course for high school students. However, the $300 Dual Enrollment Grant is available for Tennessee high school juniors and seniors; please contact the Distance Learning Office for more information at distance@bryan.edu.
How do I make my tuition payment(s)?
Payment is due in full two weeks prior to the start of each session. An email from the Distance Learning Office will provide you with a link to pay online with your credit card. Or you can mail a check to: Bryan College

Where do I get information about financial aid?
As a part-time, non-degree seeking student you will not be eligible for financial aid.

You will not need a Web-Cam or speakers for these courses.

What is the time frame that I am required to login to my course(s)?
The Bryan College Distance Learning Attendance / Automatic Drop Policy is as follows: Students who do not notify the college appropriately (as outlined below) and who do not log in to their course(s) during the first official week and who have NOT previously notified the professor of their absence will be automatically dropped from the course. There is a $100.00 administrative fee that will be assessed.
How do I drop an on-line course?
There is only ONE WAY for you to drop: You must officially notify the Registrar in writing via email. To receive a full refund (less a $50 administrative fee), the drop is required prior to the official start date of the session. You must email the Bryan College Registrar at registrar@bryan.edu and the email must be received BEFORE midnight Eastern Time on the Sunday prior to the start of the course.
If you drop during the first or second week of the course:
You will receive a 50% tuition refund if you drop the course anytime during the first two weeks of the session. You must follow the drop procedure outlined above. From the start of the third week and through the end of the course there is no refund of any kind.
Last time to withdraw or drop (Academic):
For each session that is 7 weeks in length, the last opportunity to drop the course with a W is at the end of the third week of the session. Following that time you will receive a final grade for the course (whether you choose to finish the course or not). If the session is 14 weeks, the last opportunity to drop the course with a W is at the end of the sixth week of the session. Following that time you will receive a final grade for the course (whether you choose to finish the course or not). Reminder: There is no financial refund of any kind following the second week of all sessions.
What if I get halfway through the course and don’t finish it? Will I lose my money?
Yes. See drop policy above. Also, following the third week of the course you will receive a final grade whether you complete the work or not.

Quizzes and tests are timed. They are automatically submitted when the allotted time has expired. The tests will be administered online and instructors will determine the format.

I am a student at another college. Will my on-line course transfer back to my home institution?
Bryan College is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and operates on the semester system. You should check with your home institution before registering at Bryan to ensure that the course will be accepted for transfer.
After I finish my course how can I have a transcript sent?
