rankin_3_sm.jpgWork is under way to refurbish the Communication Studies building, thanks to a generous bequest from the estate of Dr. Joanne S. Rankin ('56).

The remodeled building will house offices, conference rooms, a classroom, computer lab, and work space for production of the College's student newspaper and yearbook.

The two buildings are being joined by a 20-foot x 30-foot glass atrium, and will be bricked on the exterior to match existing campus facilities. There will be space for future expansion on the upper and lower levels as the Communication Studies and Art programs continue to grow.

Work is expected to be completed by Homecoming weekend.
