Two students from Rhea County were named Rotary Scholars at Bryan College Friday, December 7, during the Dayton Rotary Club’s annual lunch meeting at the college. Ernesto Santiago, a sophomore biology major from Dayton, and Lexi Cunningham, a sophomore history and politics and government major from Spring City. Both thanked club members for their support and acknowledged the help their scholarships are in making it possible to attend Bryan. Bryan President Dr. Stephen Livesay also praised club members for their efforts to support education in Dayton and around the world. He accepted the scholarship check from Rotary President Steve Wimberley.
