The key responsibility of the Development and Marketing Officer is to develop and implement the development and marketing strategy for LSSN, including LSSN’s social media strategy and engagement. Northwestern College is seeking qualified part-time faculty to teach predictive analytics courses online in the analytics certificate program for appointment on a term-by-term, as needed basis. Online faculty will teach remotely through Northwestern College’s online learning platform, Blackboard. All courses within this program are eight weeks in length and follow a traditional term schedule, with two consecutive courses offered each term and in the summer. Religious Services Chaplain (Bi-lingual English/Spanish), Church World Service, Immigration and Refugee - Religious Services Program, Port Isabel Service Processing Center – Port Isabel / Los Fresnos, TX. This position is funded by a contract from The Department of Homeland Security.  Must be fluent in both English and Spanish and have 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education or the equivalency in counseling. The Coordinator provides pastoral care to all detainees and also facilitates their opportunity to pursue their individual religious beliefs and practices in accordance with current law, federal regulations, and the DHS Detention Standards. The Religious Services Coordinator provides religious worship, education, counseling, spiritual direction, support and crisis intervention to accommodate the diverse religious and spiritual needs of all detainees. The Religious Services Coordinator is the facility’s subject matter expert concerning religious practices, is to be a non-judgmental caring influence in the lives of all individuals, a visible model of respect and caring for each person in spiritual need. Qualifications:  thorough knowledge of all recognized religions as well as their basic tenets and worship requirements; knowledge of basic security procedures in a detention setting and the skill to implement/maintain these procedures; knowledge of existing DHS Detention Standards, relevant Policy and Procedure Standards of the American Correctional Association, and other guidelines that govern religious programming; skill in interpersonal communication with staff, detainees; and volunteers within the facility setting as well as outside agencies and organizations; knowledge of fiscal management procedures; demonstrated management ability to provide a religious services program that ensures fairly and equitable services for all religious; skill in interviewing and counseling (individual/group). Applicants should be ordained clergy or members of ecclesiastically recognized religious institutes of vowed men or women. In lieu of professional ordination credentials, adequate documentation of the applicants' recognized religious and ministerial roles in their respective faith communities is required. Candidates must possess an earned bachelor's degree from an accredited college with at least 120 semester hours (180 quarter hours), and a Master of Divinity degree, consisting of 90 hours of graduate study from an Association of Theological Schools (ATS) accredited residential seminary or school of theology, or have earned the equivalent educational credits of 90 semester hours of graduate study which included 20 semester hours of pastoral ministry, 20 semester hours in any combination of theology, ethics, and philosophy of religions, 20 semester hours in religious history or world religions, and 20 semester hours in the study of religious writings, including the study of languages in which sacred religious writings are written. Experience: At least two years, or 4174 hours, of pastoral/spiritual leadership experience in a congregational or specialized ministry setting within the endorsing body after formal ministerial preparation. Clinical Pastoral Education, a valuable training experience for chaplains, may satisfy up to one year, or 2087 hours, of the requirement of pastoral/spiritual experience. An Ecclesiastical Endorsement attests to: the applicant's suitability for detention ministry, support for his or her candidacy, a clear assurance statement that the applicant has no present nor past legal or moral barrier to congregational ministry at any level, and an affirmation that the applicant will afford detainees of all faiths opportunities to pursue individual religious beliefs and practices. Music Minister, Hunting Creek Baptist Church, Big Island, VA.  Part-time. Hunting Creek Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Congregation in the reformed tradition. This will primarily include preparation and the leading of music for three weekly services (Sunday AM, Sunday PM, and Wednesday PM); and seasonal services. The music style of the church is “blended”. Executive Director of Strategic Communication, Evangelical Covenant Church, Chicago, IL.  The Executive Director of Communication will serve as visionary, senior leader in the church’s messaging and publishing efforts. The successful candidate will help shape the mission message to tell a great story, and guide the communication of the church’s priorities to both internal and external audiences across all available channels and forms of communications. The Executive Director will oversee and manage a professional team, creating and leading a vision for communication that can fulfill and complement the needs of the ministry departments and the denomination as a whole. The position requires a strategic thinker with a high level of communication, marketing, editorial, and media expertise; team leadership experience, and business acumen, along with an interpretive ability to channel the church’s core beliefs and values out to the public (membership and society at large) via various mediums.  The position presents a unique opportunity for an individual of faith to combine many talents to build a pace-setting denominational model of communication. The position oversees 6 areas of the communication department, and the involvement (oversight to direct involvement) varies based on current projects and staff talent: Editorial Services (book and periodical publishing); Bookstore/Fulfillment Center; Media Services (including video production);  Interactive Services (website, etc.); Creative Services (graphic and digital design); Production Services (including copy services). Qualifications:  visionary and strategic professional with demonstrated success in managing and growing a successful communication program preferably in a complex, matrixed, faith-based environment; successful track record in moving communication efforts into a new communications era (electronic, social media, etc.), while maintaining traditional or legacy outreach methods (print) for appropriate markets; passion for the mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church is essential; personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; commitment to an active Christian faith life; ability to fully support the mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church and agree to become a member of a Covenant Church, if not a current member; bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field; 8-10 years of related experience with proven skills in team leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and desire to work in a team environment; excellent project management skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; proven expertise in taking initiative, building and maintaining strong rapport and positive relationships with various constituencies; collaborative, friendly and approachable nature with enthusiasm, drive and motivation to fulfill ECC’s mission; ability to work outside standard work hours and to travel locally and nationally; a current driver’s license is required. The opening of this opportunity is due to the retirement of a long-term leader. There is a great desire to have this position filled and the onboarding process underway in May.
