Fall commencement set for Dec. 13

Friday, Dec. 13, students of the Bryan College School of Arts and Sciences, and School of Adult and Graduate Studies will walk across the chapel stage and receive their diplomas at the fall semester commencement.
 
The college will confer a total of 100 degrees, both undergraduate and graduate, at the ceremony.  “This December’s celebration marks the 87th commencement for Bryan College,” says Vice President of Academics Dr. Bradford Sample.  “All of Bryan’s degrees will be presented at the ceremony, from associate to bachelors to both the M.B.A. and the M.A. in Christian studies.  Over 100 students and 600 guests are expected to be in attendance.”
 
Giving the commencement address is Pastor Robert Armstrong, senior pastor at New Union Baptist Church in Dayton.  Pastor Armstrong is a graduate of Mississippi College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and received his M. Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He has worked in ministry for more than 15 years.
