Nominations sought for Teacher of the Year
March 31, 2014
Nominations are now open for the 2013-2014 Teacher of the Year. This award is intended to recognize a Bryan full time faculty member in the undergraduate traditional program that displays excellence in the classroom. The winner should also exemplify excellent teaching skills, mastery of content, effective communication skills, integration of faith in the classroom and in their life, and be widely viewed as a positive influence on the Bryan community.
Potential winners must first be nominated by students, staff, faculty, administrators or alumni. A committee consisting of the four previous award winners and two students chosen by SGA will evaluate submitted nominations and will recommend a winner to the Academic Vice President.
Eligible faculty must teach a minimum of six hours per semester in the traditional program, and must have taught at Bryan for a minimum of six semesters (including this semester). The four most recent winners of the award are not eligible to win this year.
