Bryan College will observe a Day of Prayer Wednesday, Nov. 2, one of two days each year set aside for prayer and devotional activities.

Classes will not meet so students, faculty and staff can give special attention to prayer and other activities designed to focus attention on devotion to the Lord.  Student leaders take the lead in planning activities for these days.

Events include continuous reading of scripture on the steps of Mercer Hall, a praise and worship service on the evening of Nov. 1, a special prayer chapel at 11 a.m., and a communion service at 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

The spring semester Day of Prayer is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 16.
