2013 BOP Dinner

Bryan College held its sixth Bryan Opportunity Program fundraising dinner on April 18, 2013, with more than 360 in attendance.  This program helps make Bryan College accessible to academically qualified Tennessee students who demonstrate significant financial need.

Leigh Anne Tuohy, 2013 speaker
Leigh Anne Tuohy, from The Blind Side, shared about making an impact in the life of Michael Oher which had an even greater life-changing impact on her, her husband, Sean, and their children.

Callie Dawkins, a current recipient of the Bryan Opportunity Program grant, shared about her life as a high school student with limited family resources. She said she had been “adopted” by a couple she calls her “bonus parents.” Upon learning of her acceptance to Bryan and of her qualification for the Bryan Opportunity Program grant that would pay her tuition, she wept and thanked God for the miracle.

Listen to Callie's testimony here. Her heart-felt message will encourage you and let you know that your support of this program does make a difference in the lives of these students.
"Ash" Ashburn

Leigh Anne ended her time by challenging us all: “You can make a difference. That’s the power of giving – it will change your life.”
Adding to the entertainment was comedian “Ash” Ashburn who served as MC.

To date, we have raised about $250,000 toward our goal of $275,000. Click here to make your gift to the Bryan Opportunity Program.
