About the Director
Ben Williams joined the staff after teaching high school English at a large private Christian school in Orlando, FL. Ben graduated with high honors from Bryan
College, earning a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and a minor in Writing. During his time as a full-time teacher, Ben used his degree and worldview training to challenge students, both in his mainstream classes and in the Advanced Placement program, toward a biblical understanding of literature and humanity. In addition to the Worldview Team, Ben serves as the Director of Summit East Conferences during the summers (http://www.bryan.edu/summit.html).
Ben married his wife, Jessica, in March of 2006, and they now live in Dayton, TN.

Honors: During his time as a teacher, Ben was honored as Upper School Christian Educator of the Year 2005-2006, Who's Who Among American Teachers 2004-2005 and 2005-2006, The Orlando Sentinel's Orange County Teacher of the Week 2006, and served as Co-Department Chair during his final semester in Orlando.
