Bryan Mourns Loss

Friday night, on the eve of Bryan's basketball opening home day, Matt Wilhoite, a freshman on the men's basketball team, was killed in a tragic car accident. As news spread through the athletic dept., the men's game against Knoxville College was cancelled. The women's basketball game and women's volleyball game were held, and a short prayer service was held after the basketball game. Coach Leo Sayles and basketball Coach Matt Bollant offered words of comfort and led the crowd in prayer. A moment of silence was observed during the volleyball match. Special services were held on campus this morning, with a special prayer time over the Men's Basketball team and athletic dept. The funeral was held this afternoon for Matt. Please be in prayer for the Wilhoite family, and also for the young driver of the car, who is alive.
