New Student Arrival Information

Arrival time for ALL new on- or off-campus students

New students are scheduled to arrive on Monday, January 9, 2012. Follow the signs for Mercer Hall. The check-in process begins on the main level of Mercer in the Admissions Office and includes other locations.  Campus offices are available for check-in from 8:30 a.m. - noon and 1 - 5 p.m.  

Although the dining hall doesn't open for the spring semester until Tuesday, January 10, 7 a.m., new students will have their first campus meal at the Welcome-to-Bryan dinner at 6 p.m. Monday evening.
 
Resident students are encouraged to arrive as early in the day as possible to go through the check-in process. After you have checked in, you may move into your room. Your ID card, room key, parking pass and mailbox information will be given to you during check-in.

Please be aware that if you are a commuter student, you must also complete the check-in process on Monday, January 9.  Commuter students are welcome to check in at any time during the scheduled check-in hours.  However, you may wish to check in later in the afternoon so that you can stay on campus for the 6 p.m. Welcome-to-Bryan dinner for all new students.

Room Assignments

Room assignments will be finalized during the first week of August for the Fall Semester and during the first week of January for the Spring Semester. Students that have paid their $200 deposit and completed the Student Life on-line registration will be assigned a room. If you have a person in mind that you want to room with please indicate this in the comments box of the Housing Questionnaire.
No room assignments will be made until the $200 deposit has been paid and received by Bryan College. ($100 enrollment deposit + $100 room deposit)

Residence Hall Information

All single full-time students who have not reached the age of 22 by the end of the current semester and are not living at home or with immediate relatives in the area are required to live in college residence halls;

  1. The established rates for housing apply to all housing units;
  2. Room assignments are made by the Office of Student Life;
  3. All students, resident and commuter, will be assigned a Bryan College e-mail address. Important announcements and messages will be sent through the Bryan College e-mail address .
  4. All students, resident and commuter, will be assigned a Bryan College mail box number. All mail for each student will be placed in their mail box.
  5. All students, resident and commuter, receive an eStudent account. Each student is able to view his or her billing, class schedule, the campus calendar,  and track required documents on their eStudent account.
