Bryan College Senior Drew Friedrich became the first baseball player in Bryan College History to earn First Team All-Conference honors for the 2007 season. Drew was voted the All-Conference First Baseman in a vote of all the AAC Head Coaches. Coach Joel Johnson had these comments to say concerning Drew "He earned this award. He took his role with this team very seriously this year and put in the work to fill that role. Driving in runs, a good batting average and team leadership. It has been a pleasure coaching him and he will be sorely missed."
Friedrichs Stats for the 2007 Season are: Batting Average .346, Runs 34, Doubles 15, Home Runs 11, RBI's 49, Slugging % .715. OB% .460

Bryan Senior Ben Wharton earned the Rawlings Golden Glove Award in the Appalachian Athletic Conference for his defensive efforts during the 2007 season.
This is the first year this award has been given in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. Wharton was chosen by a vote of the AAC head baseball coaches. Coach Joel Johnson commented "Ben made some of the best catches I have ever seen an outfielder make this year. Robbing home runs, two out diving catches, throwing out five base runners from Center Field. Great leadership on and off the field. What more can a coach ask for in a player! Ben's shoes will be hard for us to fill."
Ben's 2007 Stats are: 127 Chances, 122 Putouts, 5 Assists, 1 Error and a Fielding % of .992
Senior Jeremy Deal, Senior Matt Day, Senior Ben Wharton and Junior Will Newman all earned AAC All-Conference Honorable Mention awards. Deal - Shortstop, Day - Designated Hitter, Wharton - OF, Newman - 3B.
