General Maintenance Repair Worker

Bryan College Fulltime Position Opening

Work to be Performed may require a variety of general maintenance and repair skills involving:

• Elevators
• HVAC systems
• Kitchen equipment
• Minor electrical, plumbing, and roofing tasks
• Swimming pools and supporting water systems
• Carpentry, to include door and window treatment installation and repairs
• Small engine and grounds maintenance equipment service and repair
• Other maintenance and repair work as directed 

The employee must also be able to operate pick-up trucks, grounds maintenance mobile equipment, and other vehicles which do not require a special license.

In addition, the employee will order parts and supplies as required to complete assigned tasks and ensure the availability of in-house inventory items.

The employee will be tasked with completing specific, prioritized Work Orders, and will turn in a Work Order Log at the end of each day which documents work performed.

The employee may also be tasked with supervising student workers.

Work Hours are normally 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. However, work must occasionally be performed before or after the normal work day and on week-ends to respond to emergency situations and to support campus special events.
