How Does Italy Abroad Work?
The Classes
On Monday, February 4, classes will fall into a modular schedule. Nineteen credit hours will be taken one class at a time over one- or two-week periods. Lectures begin at 9 a.m. and last until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday with a three-hour lunch break (or riposo). Homework for the next day is completed each evening. This system enables students to enjoy a deep, intensive look at each subject with their professor and classmates.
Classes offered in Spring '08 include: Missions & Evangelism, Acts and the Formation of the Church, Introduction to Fine Arts, Italian Renaissance Art, OT Selections: Joshua, Judges & Ruth, Gospel of Mark, Intercultural Communication, Bocce Ball, and New Testament Literature & Interpretation. Professors include Mr. Sam Spatola, Dr. Drew Randle, Mr. Matt Benson, Dr. John McMath, Dr. Randy Hollingsworth, Dr. Mel Wilhoit, and Dr. Jud Davis.
