A Checklist for Success

Bring the following items to your writing consultation:

• 2 paper copies of your draft
  
• Copy of the assignment
• Any previous drafts with instructor comments

Be sure to remember:

• Walk-in consultations are welcome. However, appointments are encouraged.
  
• All consultations are confidental. If a professor gives you a writing center referral, he or she will receive an acknowledgment that you visited.
• You are allowed three appointments per week, but only one a day.
• If you need to cancel a consultation, please notify the Writing Center immediately.
• Extended evening hours in the library. Tuesday-Thursday, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
