2008 Projects

Summer 2008 projects included

  • Reconfiguring the fourth floor of Huston residence hall to house three students per room instead of two. Fixed furnishings were removed, the floors were retiled, walls repainted, and new modular furniture was installed.  This project duplicated work done on other floors of Huston and in Long residence hall last summer to accommodate our growing student body and to supplement the extra space provided by our newest residence hall, Robinson Hall.
  • Renovating the student cafeteria by removing the wall between the serving and dining areas, adding a raised seating area near the windows, and adding new serving lines and areas for sub sandwiches and other items.
