Spring semester begins
January 08, 2007
Bryan College students return this week for the 2007 spring semester, and face a full schedule – in addition to their classes.
Officers of the Student Government Association have a retreat Monday to plan for the coming semester, and all students are expected back on campus Monday night.
Registration is scheduled for Tuesday, and classes begin Wednesday.
Wednesday also is the kick-off for the biennial missions conference. Marsh Moyle, founder and director of the European mission agency SEN will speak in chapel at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Friday, and at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. At 11 a.m. Thursday there will be break-out sessions with representatives of missions agencies.
On Monday, Jan. 15, classes will be cancelled so students, faculty and staff can work on community service projects throughout Rhea and neighboring counties on the third Martin Luther King Community Service Day. More than 80 projects have been identified for the Bryan family to render assistance.
