Prospective students interested in entering Bryan College as new freshmen in the fall of 2007 may take advantage of an online financial aid estimator to assist in planning for their educational costs.
“The financial aid estimator uses the federal need-analysis formula and Bryan College packaging guidelines to create a customized estimate of financial aid that students may be eligible to receive,” said Michael Sapienza, Bryan’s director of Financial Aid. Prospective students enter their standardized test scores, GPA, and other information which determines eligibility for different types of Bryan College scholarships and grants. They may also complete a quick calculation of their Expected Family Contribution which will allow them to see what federal and state aid they may also be eligible to receive.
“The response has been great and many of the forms are being completed at night when prospective students do much of their college searching on the internet,” Sapienza said.
The financial aid estimator is intended for use by freshman intending to enter Bryan College in the fall of 2007. Students intending to enter in the fall of 2008 may still be able to estimate their financial aid package, assuming there are no significant changes in their family’s financial situation.
