Keck named Director of Advancement

Steve Keck has been named director of advancement for Bryan College, college President Dr. Stephen D. Livesay announced July 18
Mr. Keck will supervise activities of the advancement department, including fund-raising, estate planning, alumni relations and public information. He succeeds Robert Davis who will continue to work with the college on special projects.
Mr. Keck is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in economics. He served as vice president for Christian Mortgage Company in Chattanooga, and branch manager for American Mortgage Source in Nashville. For the past three years he has served as director of development for Tennessee Temple University. He is pursuing a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation through American College. His civic involvements include the United Way, Habitat for Humanity and Camp Joy.
He and his wife, Kim, who recently was named an assistant professor of music at Bryan, have four children and live in Harrison.
Dr. Livesay said, “I’m pleased that Steve has taken the challenge to lead our advancement staff and the fund-raising efforts for the college. He brings an infectious enthusiasm for Christian higher education and for the task of helping Bryan grow in size and quality. I believe he will be a real asset to the school and our community.”
Mr. Keck said, “I am excited about the opportunity and look forward to working with the staff, faculty, alumni and the local community. Bryan College has a long and successful history of preparing its students academically, biblically and with a worldview approach of service for Christ. I plan to move to Dayton with my family and become an active member of the community.”
