Spiritual Formation

Living a life that is centered on Christ, the life of a disciple, means loving and responding to Christ with heart, mind, soul, and body. Thus, Spiritual Formation works alongside students' academic experiences to consider how the gospel frames the way that they live and love, both here on campus and in their community.

Our mission is to invite students to interact with the Holy Spirit's work of nurturing depth of personal interiority, cultivating intimacy within community, and illuminating specific roles that enrich the Kingdom around the world, resulting in a richness of soul that leads to a richness of life.

Practically speaking, the OSF develops opportunities for personal growth, community, and service through the Chapel program, Christian Life Formation classes, ministries within Practical Christian Involvement, and the Acts Project. We also encourage students to be involved in their local churches and to seek mentoring relationships during their time at Bryan.
