Intramural competition allows students to have an outlet in which they can engage in a healthy level of competition and interact with fellow students and sometimes faculty and staff. These events take place periodically throughout both the fall and spring semesters.
Some of the intramurals offered are flag football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, pool, dodgeball, and ping-pong. Due to the varying nature of each sport there are different requirements and rules for the formulation of teams for each sport. Students receive notices via e-mail and signs informing them of the rules, regulations, and deadlines for the intramural sport. Once the teams are comprised, the games or matches will be held for about a month, after which the championship play-offs begin. The team declared the champion of each intramural sport receives championship intramural T-shirts.
