Music Groups

Bryan Chorale

The Bryan Chorale, under the direction of Dr. David Luther, is the music department's primary choral ensemble. Each fall, this group of about 75 singers performs major choral works with symphony orchestra plus a Christmas program. During second semester, 45 of these singers tour part of the U.S. during spring break. The group's concerts and recordings have been received enthusiastically throughout the United States and Europe, including Lincoln Center in New York City and Westminster Abbey in London. During the spring of 2004, the Chorale performed Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra. They will be making a missions trip to Europe in the summer of 2006. Membership is open to music major and non-majors by audition each fall.

Chamber Singers

The Bryan College Chamber Singers is a select 16-voice group that has performed nationwide, in Europe and in the Bahamas. Their repertoire includes classical, spirituals, gospel and contemporary music. Open to music majors and non-majors by audition each fall.

Instrumental Ensembles

Instrumental ensembles consisting of brass, woodwind, and strings are available, depending on student availability and scheduling. Open to music majors and non-majors by audition each fall.

Worship Teams

Worship teams lead chapel and other religious services. Open to all qualified students; formed at beginning school year.
