Bryan Defeats Tennessee Temple in Homecoming Match

     Bryan defeated Tennessee Temple in convincing fashion on Saturday in front of a large Homecoming crowd. 
     In just the 2nd minute, Jota da Silva scored off an assist from Diego Taucano to put the Lions on the board against the Crusaders. In the 5th minute, Scott Davidson beat the keeper off the dribble after receiving a pass from Jota da Silva and finished in the open net.  Two minutes later, Davidson scored again, off an assist by Jota da Silva.  In the 13th minute, Mano Silva scored after he stole the ball off a defender.  Thirteen minutes later, Hayden Lavo fired a goal from long range, after an assist from Reggie Parks.  With nine minutes remaining in the half, Ben Whitley scored off an assist from Chris Kloc.  The final goal of the half came with two minutes remaining when Andres Garcia scored after a give and go with Gabe Fisher.
     Nine minutes into the second half, James Carmichael penetrated and laid the ball off to Reggie Parks who tucked it away.  In the 30th minute, Steve Perry fed the ball to Gabe Fisher who struck the ball inside the right post for another goal.  The final goal was from Reggie Parks, assisted by Ben Whitley.
     The Lions are now 12-2 (4-1 AAC), ranked #2 Nationally in the NCCAA and #2 in NAIA Region XII.  The Lions will host Milligan College Saturday, October 13th for their final home game.
