what is my email address?

Your email address will be your username followed by @bryan.edu. For example, if your username is jsmith5555 then your email address will be jsmith5555@bryan.edu. In addition you also have a friendly email alias address which is your firstname.lastname@bryan.edu. Again, if your name is John Smith, then your email address would be john.smith@bryan.edu. If you have trouble sending mail to your friendly email address, please contact the Helpdesk.


how can i check my bryan email from bcinternet or off campus?

Open a web browser and enter the following address: http://mail.bryan.edu/. Enter your username and password.

Note: If you are using a dial-up connection, select the "Use Outlook Web Access Light" option. Also, regardless of connection speed, if you are not using Internet Explorer 7, the "Use Outlook Web Access Light" option will be enabled by default.


how do i contact my system administrator?

how many recipients can i send a message to at a time?

An email message can have up to sixty (60) recipients. If you are sending a message to a large number of people, try splitting the recipients into groups of sixty or less. If you must email large groups on a regular basis, contact the Helpdesk for further assistance via email or by calling extension 333.

Note: Limits are placed on the number of recipients to keep certain email viruses checked and contained.
