How to Create a Distribution List

How do I make a Distribution List (mailing list)?

In Outlook 2007 near the top left corner of the window, you will see a button that says "New" with a small arrow next to it. Click the small arrow and choose "Distribution List" from the menu that drops down.



Hint: You can only make a distribution list of contacts already in your Contacts folder or in the Global Address List. In order to add off-campus recipients to your Distribution List, you must first create an entry for each one in your Contacts.

Type in a name that will be easy for you to remember into the "Name" field and then click "Select Members" to add members to your Distribution List.

Double-click on the names to add them to your Distribution list.



By default you will be adding from the Global Address List. To add from your personal contacts click on the top-right drop-down list and choose "Contacts."
