Bristol, TN-- Bryan College senior Libero and AAC First-Team honoree Kathryn Rawley set two new school records during the AAC Conference tournament this weekend. Rawley guided the Lions to their first AAC championship match in Bryan's history, breaking the former official single-match dig record with 38 digs in the final. Rawley also tallied 28 digs in a win against Union. Her 119 digs for the week gives her 627 digs in 2007, shattering her former record of 508 digs in 2006. Rawley was perfect at the serving line as well, going 59 for 59. She led the Lions' reception core with a 92% reception percentage.  Rawley also owns the unofficial single-game mark of 52 digs in a loss to Missouri Baptist in preseason, but the mark will remain unofficial due to lack of documentation or verification.  Rawley currently has 1764 career digs, and will add to her season and career totals when the Lions compete in the NAIA Regional tournament at King College November 16-17.
