     Lake Wales, FL-- Playing for the first time in over a week, the Bryan College Lady Lions lost Thusday night to Lindsey Wilson College from Kentucky in the first round of the Hampton Inn Classic in Lake Wales, Florida. The Lady Lions never led in the contest, but trailed by only 4 points heading into the locker room at half time. Bryan was out-rebounded by the Lady Raiders 39-27 and the Lady Lions had 24 costly turnovers which allowed Lindsey Wilson to extend their lead in the second half. When all was said and done the scoreboard read Lindsey Wilson 66, Bryan 45.

     Despite the loss, Katie Davis managed to score 10 points and grab seven rebounds in the loss, while Courtney Swanson added 12 points and 3 rebounds of her own. The Lady Lions drop to 4-8 on the year, and will look to rebound as they now take on NYACK College in the first round of the Loser's Bracket at 5:00 PM on Friday at Warner Southern College.
