Environmental Services
The Environmental Services staff would never be able to achieve its consistently high level of service without the spirit of "servant-leader" which is imbedded into the culture of the college. All faculty and administrative staff members from the college president on down clean their own offices. In addition, everyone takes their own trash out to the Dumpster and helps pick up the occasional piece of litter. The result is a beautiful campus environment that reflects a sense of stewardship.
The Environmental Services staff consists of three full time employees who are augmented by student workers. This small staff has a huge challenge, ensuring that the college dormitories and public buildings are clean and presentable each day despite being used by hundreds of students, employees, and visitors.
Anyone who observes a situation requiring the attention of the ES staff should call the campus Work Order hotline at extension 470. Please leave your name, telephone number, location, and a brief description of the problem and someone will return your call and ensure that the situation is taken care of as soon as possible.
