Hilltop Players present 'Musical Comedy Murders of 1940'

A murder mystery about a musical – without any music – will be the Hilltop Players’ final production of the year at Bryan College April 17-19.  “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940,” which opened on Broadway in 1986, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. each day in Rudd Auditorium.
 
Set in the mansion of a financial backer of many plays, “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940” is the story of a group invited to an audition for backers of a new musical, who try to discover who is killing the guests.
 
Students in the cast include, from Dayton, Katrina Wise as Elsa Von Grossenknueten, and Emily Ricketts as Marjorie Baverstock; from Red Bank, Eve Hildebrandt as Bernice Roth; from Harrison, Ethan Hargraves as Michael Kelly; and, from Rock Springs, Ga., Justin Winters as Ken De La Maize.
 
Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for adults, and are available by calling the box office at 774-7500.
