Worldview Initiative

Our students are constantly grappling with these deep ideas and questions, "Who is God? What does it mean to be human? What is culture?" and they are grappling with these questions in the context of a generation that is characterized by virtual relationships, cut-and-paste spirituality, and the exodus from the church. As our students wrestle with these lifestyles, ideas, and questions, we must ask ourselves "What place does Christ and the church take in this conversation and in their lives?"

Our Mission

To cultivate a generation of students who love God, live the gospel, and shape their communities by beginning conversations with them through conferences, retreats, and chapels that are designed to show them ways to live the gospel through personal piety and social action.

Our Passion

Though our name has changed from Worldview Teams to Worldview Initiative, our deep passion and mission has not.

John Stonestreet, Executive Director of
Summit Ministries, says this:

“The Worldview Initiative continues Bryan College's historically strong
contribution in this task by teaching students how to understand the
significance of the Christian Worldview and how to engage the competing
ideas of our culture."

We look forward to fulfilling our calling to work with students and adults in schools and churches across the Southeast.
