Bryan College’s financial aid office will partner with the Rhea County High School counseling department to present information about paying for college Thursday, Oct. 2, beginning at 6 p.m. at the high school in Evensville.
Rick Taphorn, director of financial aid, said he and a representative of the Tennessee Hope Scholarship program will present two sessions covering costs of attending colleges, applying for scholarships and loans and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
“This program at Rhea County’s College Night provides information for students who are planning to continue their education beyond high school, whether at a public or private institution,” Mr. Taphorn said. “This is a good opportunity for students and their parents to learn about how to find and apply for scholarships, grants and loans and to get an idea about the college application process.”
