Today was the first road trip for the Lions as they took on Crichton at Free-Hardeman right after the girls played. The men did not handle the long bus trip as well as the ladies. They did not play as well as they have shown that they can play. However, they played good enough to get the win. The only goal in the first half came from Ryon Simon off an assist from Daniel O'Kane on a corner kick. Then about 20 minutes into the second half Carlos (Jota) Pedro da Silva added the second and final goal of the match. "I'm glad for the win but it wasn't a particularly impressive perfomance," were Coach Zensen's thought on the game. The Lions will have to try and have a better performance tomorrow night against Free-Hardeman at 9:00 eastern time.
