October 1, 2008The Bryan Lions are still undefeated and ranked #1 in the nation in the NCCAA Division 1. Week four rankings were released yesterday, and for the fourth week in a row the Lions are at the top. Bryan received #1 votes from all six of the regions that voted. The Lions are 3rd in the nation in points per game, 2 points per goal and 1 point per assist, and are 1st in goals against average. Raphael Correa is ranked 19th in points per game and 13th in goals per game, while Lyle Gifford is ranked 12th in assist per game. The Lions were 8-0-1 going into this ranking. They won their game Tuesday against Tennessee Wesleyan, and will try to remain undefeated this Saturday at the Homecoming game against Bluefield College.
