October 1, 2008The Lady Lions are ranked #5 in the nation in Division I of the NCCAA. This is their 4th consecutive week to be in the top ten. In team stat rankings the Lady Lions slipped to 17th in assist average and 10th in ace average, stayed 7th in kill average and 20th in digging, and moved up to 3rd in attacking percentage and 3rd in blocking average. The ladies that were ranked nationally for their individual statistics last week are sitting at the following spots this week:
- Alison Young - #14 in attacking percentage,
- Robin Renfroe - #6 in blocking average
- Amber Smith - #22 in blocking average
- Ashley Sours - #20 in blocking average
- Amanda Manke - #25 in ace average
The Lady Lions are busy this week; following their win on Tuesday, they face a tough stretch with games on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
