The Lions lost a tough game to the Cumberland Patriots on Wednesday night. The Patriots tied the #1 team in the nation, Lindsey Wilson, in their last game. Bryan came out strong and created many opportunites early in the first half and throughout the second half. The Patriots controlled the last 20 minutes of the first half. putting two goals away during this time. The second goal came off of a penalty kick. The Lions had 8 shots on goal, just two less than the Patriots. Bryan Keeper Josh Courtright came through with 8 big saves for the Lions.
The Lions are now 10-3-2 overall. They play again on Saturday at Monteat at 3:30 PM EST. If the Lions win, they will be the Regular Season Champions.
