Acts Project

Take a passion for God's work in world missions; place in its hands the skill of a businessman, a writer, a doctor, a videographer; plant it in the midst of a family of fellow laborers overseas; and you have the Acts Project.

A Missional Lifestyle

Action Pointers:

The Acts Project couples a semester-long class conversation on missions with a summer internship. The small, highly-interactive Bible study setting frames a closer look at God's work in hearts around the world, the work of the Spirit in cultivating the gospel, and current trends in missions-- how believers live well within their context. Students spend time with practitioners and prayer warriors as they learn to be kingdom-living Christians.

The Global Body of Christ

The Acts Project introduces students to their brothers and sisters around the world: each student learns about her field assignment throughout the semester; in the summer, she meets, worships with, and serves believers of many nationalities. Typically, students live with a missionary or pastoral family, who serve as cultural guides and mentors.

Using Vocational Gifts

Students of all majors see what their chosen course of study or profession looks like in a ministry context. Each field assignment is carefully chosen, considering how the field's needs, culture,
and staff can employ and develop the student's skills and giftings,
and vice versa.
