Christopher Henderson

Hi! My name is Christopher Henderson, and I am an Admissions Counselor at Bryan College.DSCF0006.JPG

Bryan is a place that is very close to my heart. Not only did I graduate from here in 2002, but I also met my wife (Audrey Jones) here. Through that meeting and marriage came three wonderful gifts from the Lord, my sons Thomas (5), Robert (3), Sarah (1), and a new addition Brianna.

My degree is in Social Studies Education, so, naturally, Christian learning is very close to my heart. I very deliberately came to Bryan to put myself in place to serve the Lord in the faithful hands of this school that I have grown to love so dearly.

During my college career at Bryan, Christian living and learning was really brought to light for me. It is very evident that the balance here between Christian thinking and Christian living has given me a very hopeful outlook on my profession.

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might,” (Eccles. 9:10) and “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men” (Col. 3:23) …this was the tone of my educational experience. I was taught in the classroom, and by example, that Christ’s headship over all things must guide all my service and thought, and that life must to be seen through the prism of His redemption. This is why I gladly promote Bryan to all prospective students. I am very grateful that God has given me this position in his kingdom. It is a real delight to advocate the Bryan emphasis of “Christ Above All.”

I reside in Dayton and, being a lifelong resident, am very much at home both on campus and in town. You can generally see me with my wife as we wheel around the babies at the local walking track, hiking the local wilderness trails, or hitting the coffee bars/local eateries in town.

God demonstrated His abundant grace and love to me and mine in innumerable ways during my time as a student at Bryan, and I am excited to be a part of His plan helping you decide if Bryan College will be right for you!

I'll be more than happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to contact me at 800.227.9522 ext. 292 or chenderso4225@bryan.edu.
