International lecture series for MBA & Aspire students
August 10, 2009
The Division of Graduate and Professional Studies recently announced a new initiative aimed at emphasizing the rapidly changing global business environment. The MBA/Aspire International Lecture Series will introduce graduate and undergraduate students to speakers from Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Scotland who are experts in international business, economics, and leadership. The speakers, who will be visiting during the Fall 2009 semester, were carefully chosen in collaboration with Bryan’s Center for International Development,
Dennis Miller, Executive Director of the Center for International Development, said that “the exciting thing about this series is that we have an opportunity to hear from people who’ve made a difference in the business communities in their own cultures and in many cases beyond the borders of their own culture. This series is designed specifically for our MBA and Aspire students, the majority of whom are already well into their careers, with increasing numbers working for companies with international connections.”
