Roane St. Star Signs with Bryan

Former Cumberland County and Roane State Community College basketball player Cody Christopher has decided to play for Bryan College next season.

Christopher, a 6'7" wing/post player with a 32-inch vertical, averaged 13 ppg and 8 rpg in high school.  As a freshman at Roane St., Cody averaged 11 ppg and 6 rpg as a freshman and 10 ppg and 6 rpg in 10 games his sophomore year before suffering a broken arm that prematurely ended his season.

Cody's athleticism and toughness should have an immediate impact for the Lions.  Coach Rekoske said, "We are excited to sign a player like Cody.  We are looking for him to come in next year and be a big part in what we hope to accomplish.  For his size, he is very skilled.  We are thrilled that he is coming to Bryan." 

Cody played for Coach Nesbit at Roane State, and will join former Roane State teammate Thomas Davis, who is a post player for the Lions.
